Problem
Is this a real, frequent, expensive friction?
Evidence: interviews, observed behaviour, and a workaround people already pay for in time or money. A market-size slide does not pass this gate.
Operating method
LifeGex is a parent company, not a fund and not an agency. Its only durable asset is a repeatable way to decide what to build next and what to stop. That decision is made at gates, against artifacts.
The ladder
A gate is not a milestone and not a date. It is a question that can be answered with something a stranger could inspect. Until it is, the venture stays where it is.
Is this a real, frequent, expensive friction?
Evidence: interviews, observed behaviour, and a workaround people already pay for in time or money. A market-size slide does not pass this gate.
Can we make the smallest surface that resolves it?
Evidence: a working build in isolated QA, with named surfaces and a recorded version. Screenshots alone are not a build.
Will strangers use it without being asked?
Evidence: real users outside the team, repeat usage, and a retention cohort that survives the novelty. Internal demos are excluded.
Does a transaction cover its own cost?
Evidence: paid transactions, contribution margin, and a unit of growth that can be bought again. “It would work at scale” is not evidence.
Does acquisition repeat without heroics?
Evidence: a channel that works more than once, and shared modules that lower the cost of the next venture. Until then, expansion is a story, not a plan.

Operator
Founder & operator, LifeGex
LifeGex is founder-led and operated from Vietnam. I write the gate sheets, review the builds, and decide where capital goes. The rule I hold myself to is simple: publish the gap before someone else finds it.
No advisory board is listed on this page. If one is formed, it will appear here with a name and a role rather than a logo wall.
Where this lands
Every gate answer that exists today is recorded in the ledger, including the rows with nothing in them. If the ledger and this page ever disagree, the ledger wins.
